How It Works

It really is easy!

Email me clear photos of your home or favourite building.

For me to make your piece as accurate as possible, please send me photos of each side, back and front views.

Make sure that all windows, doors, conservatories, porchways, extensions, chimneys etc..are visible in the photographs you take.

Payment

To be paid through PAYPAL.

After we have discussed and agreed upon a final and detailed design and price, I will ask for 50% of the final payment to be paid. The last 50% of the payment is to be paid just before I ship you your personalised bespoke commission.

Because each piece is personalised I do not accept returns or give refunds.

Let The Process Begin

Once we have agreed on the finished shape and detailed decorations of your piece, I will mould the clay and stamp the bottom with my logo. I then allow it to air dry for roughly a week, before popping it into my kiln for a bisque firing.

An approximate size guide is 10cm high, 8cm wide, 8cm depth. Please note that measurement for each piece will vary depending on the shape of your home or favourite building.

I will then hand paint on all the detailed decoration decided upon, taken from all your photos as my reference. Once hand painted in black, I will then hand dip the piece into transparente shiny dipping glaze and pop it back into my kiln for a glaze firing, which completes this loving process.

Because my work is handmade by me, it may be a little wonky with tiny blemishes.

Time Frame

As your personalised piece is made to order, please allow up to five weeks for me to create and complete it.

If you would like a personalised order completed in time for a specific date, then please get in touch before you place the order to see if it is possible.

Keep an eye out for emails from me, as I will send you three photos and messages documenting my process of your piece along the way.

My first email will be once I have drawn up the shape and illustrated decoration of your piece.

My second email will be once I have moulded and shaped your piece in clay.

My third email will be once I have hand painted all the illustrated decoration, glazed and glazed fired your piece in my kiln.

Postage

Once you have approved your custom piece and the final payment has been made, I will only then dispatch your order.

All my pieces are sent to you through registered Portuguese post, ctt.pt.

Each order comes with its own tracking number, for us to keep an eye on your parcels whereabouts.

Shipping from Portugal to Europe and the U.K takes roughly five working days. The rest of the world and the U.S.A, I would allow for ten working days. When filling out postage forms online I now need your email address to complete the shipping form.
